Do NOT Buy – A perfect example of how to destroy your own game.
ARK: Survival Evolved used to be one of the most engaging survival sandboxes on offer. But instead of cultivating and preserving what made it so, the publisher went and killed it – twice – just to make people buy the newer, buggier ASA.
🔧 The latest patch (Aquatica DLC) completely destroyed the base game: most mods don't work anymore, saves were corrupted or deleted, and the game crashes constantly. Even people who didn't buy the DLC were affected. It's like they attempted to make the game worse for everyone.
💰 This is clearly an intentional strategy – devastate ASE, force migration to ASA, and start charging money for content that was previously free. Not only is it greedy, it's predatory.
🤖 And the AI-generated trailer? Laughably bad. It's a reflection of the lack of effort and respect the developers now have for their player base.
This is no longer our beloved game. It has been turned into a broken shell, weaponized for greed.
It's a shame, as the game itself began really well and had an "innovative" idea for itself, but oh well. The developers were too greedy for money.
And dear developers, listen up. We don't forget.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is a masterpiece of psychological horror!
I love how this remake stays true to the spirit of the original 2001 classic while adding fresh elements that enhance the experience and fit perfectly into the eerie world of Silent Hill. The haunting atmosphere, deep and emotional story, and unforgettable soundtrack make it one of the best horror games ever made. It’s unsettling, thought-provoking, and lingers in your mind long after you stop playing. I highly recommend it to any fan of horror and psychological thrillers.

Review Assassin's Creed: Syndicate

Ah Syndicate, a game you love and adore on one hand, and hate on the other. Game that from the very beginning was compared to Unity in every way (and rightly so). I approached it about 3 times, and only now am I able to write something more.
I played it for the first time shortly after its release, and unfortunately bounced through technical problems and optimizations.
The second time was after 3/4 years and many patches, but I passed it on the strength of doing a speedrun of the main plot and the required side stuff.
Only now have I decided to pass it at 100% along with all collectible items.

A lot of heart and effort was put into the creation of this game, but unfortunately, not everything came out as well as thought out.

Starting with the cons:

-Technical Issues and bugs: At launch, the game suffered from numerous bugs and technical problems, which could affect the smoothness of the gameplay and overall experience. Despite the passage of years, the game still manages to "crunch" at some point, or throw to the desktop ( For 28h the game, dumped 2 times ). Of the other problems I've noticed, it will happen that a character doesn't want to listen to the player at all, and does whatever it wants ( Standard in Assassin's Creed since Altaïr ).
-The lack of a common mission for Jacob and Evie: How come there is no common mission for them? This begs for a mission in which you could use their weak as well as strong qualities ( Which you can also see in the skill tree ). Can be also introduce a cooperative mode, in which one player plays Jacob, the other Evie ( On the model of that in Unity ).
-Repetition and routine: The map of 19th century London is even large and divided into 7 districts that are filled with finds, side missions and other activities. While the side missions are diverse, they can become repetitive over time. They lack the deeper story elements that could engage. After about five hours, they start to get boring and you do them by force. If you would like to collect all collectibles, you can't do it without in-game treasure map. You won't be able to do 100% with her either, because it doesn't mark all them on the map. Using only this map, I always missed a few Helix Glitches, chests or Beer Bottles, which forced me to use the interactive map from the internet. During a side thread during WW1 despite almost 10 years since its release, the bug with the Helix Glitch under bridge has still not been fixed, and if you are not lucky, you will lose a lot of time to collect it. There's also so much of everything that when you redeem the treasure map and look at the map, you'll instantly feel sick of collecting it. And all those finds and side missions are just there to artificially extend the time spent in the game.
-Plot and second characters: While the overall plot is interesting, some of the twists and events can seem predictable. There is a lack of more surprising moments that would keep you in suspense. The same goes for secondary characters and main villain. Joseph Starrick sits in his favorite chair for almost the entire game and does nothing. Sometimes he will give an order to someone, raise his voice, or kill someone because he was interrupted, that's it. The secondary characters are so shallow and "emotionless" that you won't remember them anyway, except for Maxwell Roth.
-Craft, level system and gear: In truth, the game begins and ends with level 7. Until you reach this level, you are an easy target for blighters, and a larger group of them, is capable of killing you in a few seconds. The fight itself takes a long time then, because despite the ( currently ) best weapons ( upgraded ) you inflict little damage. When you unlock level 7, the best weapons are unlocked, with which you will already finish the game. The fight takes moments, and if you have the gang upgrades, you are able to kill them also in a few seconds. When you like a certain armor, glove or weapon, you have to clear the map of chests, or buy the necessary ingredients from the ubisoft store, otherwise you won't create them.

Maybe now some pros:

-World and details: The game perfectly captures the atmosphere of 19th century Victorian London. The architectural details, lighting and overall design of the city make you feel like you've really been transported there to that era. Cult locations such as Big Ben, the Thames and Whitechapel are impressively rendered. Many times I stood on a tall building, and just admired the scenery. Even well-done NPCs ( newspaper sellers, firemen's, police and other ) they give you a sense that this city is really alive and functioning. The trains passing by from time to time only intensify this effect.
-The thread with WW1: It was really well written and done. If one likes history, one will definitely enjoy this thread. One thing was also brought up there that explains the main plot, but I won't spoil.
-Combat System: Unfortunately, there is no hidden blade for fighting here ( Siblings only use them to finish off opponents ), but the combat system itself is smoother and more satisfying than in previous entries in the series. Melee combat is fast, brutal and exciting. It gives a lot of fun for real.
-Main characters: Introduction of two protagonists adds a new dimension to the gameplay. Each character has unique abilities, allowing for more varied approaches to different tasks. Evie and Jacob Frye are siblings with vastly different personalities that complement each other well. Evie is thoughtful, patient, and focused on subtle actions, while Jacob is impulsive, charismatic, and prefers direct confrontation, therefore, I believe that everyone will choose their favorite character.
-Skill Tree: Skill trees for siblings are almost the same, distinguishing 3/4 skills available to only one character. Unlocking more skills in truth gives you a big advantage and is well designed.

Verdict:
It's a solid 7/10 which is sure to delight you, but can also upset or bore you.
I suggest that you pick this up during a sale, and play it in short bursts. If you don't have pressure to collect items at 100% in games, don't do it.
