I really loved this game. I bought it as soon as it was released, and put so many hours into it. Sadly, my love for this game has been tainted by the recent decisions of the Dev team. Hopefully they listen to the community, and stop these changes. If not, I guess I'll try my best to get a refund...

I have a real love-hate relationship with this game. It is the most immersive, most amazing survival game you can play. Some of the mechanics are insane. However, you need to be prepared to pull your hair out when something dumb kills you. I've had plenty of times where a character that has been alive for months will not do what I want him to, and die a horrible death. My most recent example being Frank Cummings. Kentucky State Trooper, family man, former eagle scout. Frank was surviving better than most. He had a fortified house with more water and canned food than he knew what to do with. He had 3 generators, two cars, and 35 full cans of gas. Frank was strong, smart, and in great shape. Frank only needs one more thing to be happy: guns. So, Frank takes a road trip! He's gonna go to a gun store. He loads up his truck with gas cans, a spare tire, food, water, and a shotgun for emergencies. He drives all the way from Muldraugh to Westpoint with no issues. Frank drives up to the front door of the gun store and jumps out of his truck! There's a whole horde of zombies in the parking lot, but Frank being a seasoned zombie killer pulls out his hunting knife and gets to work. After stabbing 50+ zombies in the face, Frank can finally complete his mission... GUNS! He enters the gun store and is disappointed to see a massive security gate. Well, Frank is not deterred! He swings at that gate with his fire axe and... nothing happens. Apparently the gate is axe-proof. So, Frank goes to Plan B. He walks to a nearby restaurant and fills 25 bowls with water. Returning to the gun store, water in hand, Frank pulls out a molotov cocktail! Frank's plan is to start a small fire on the wall next to the gate so he can get through. Frank positions himself to throw, aaaaand.... instead of throwing the molotov where he wanted, he just drops it at his feet. That's okay, "we can work with this", Frank thinks. The fire burns and burns until a hole appears in the wall. Frank quickly pulls out his 25 BOWLS OF WATER... 25... and attempts to put out the fire. However, dousing fire with bowls of water doesn't seem to be a feature in the game just yet.... So, Frank starts to panic as his small fire grows larger and larger. Eventually the gun store begins to burn down around him. Thousands of rounds of ammo, gone forever. And then, with no indication that he is taking damage... Frank just falls over and dies. Days of work... gone.... in an instant. 10/10 would do it all over again.
