The puzzles start off easy if you're new to this type of puzzle, with ample hint and guidance options that can be easily customized to suit your playstyle. Speaking of customization, the wealth of options available for your house-happy rodents will let you create the heart rat of your dreams to watch scamper around their decorated surroundings. There are hundreds of furniture items to fill your rat's home with, and solving a more difficult version of the puzzle that initially unlocks an item lets you choose from a selection of colors to use on it in the future.

If I had to summarize Squeakross in one word it would have to be 'joyful'. The puzzles are engaging, the rats are precious (or feral, or gentle, or a lot of other personality options!) and fun to watch whether they're keeping you company in a puzzle or exploring their home, and the decorating controls are quick and simple to get results with.
