a real nutjob with aspergers somehow managed to get excel and diablo to ♥♥♥♥ each other. out popped path of exile. is the world a better place for it? you be the judge.

I think this game works better on paper than in reality. A really charming style and well-thought out design. The gameplay loops and elements just feel too clunky. Maybe there's people in the world that want to make potions by manually, hand-turning a gear and then sloshing it around over a simulated fire. I'm not one of them.

Honestly, lethal company disrupted the gaming industry. for any bean counter or business study thats trying to investigate the death of AAA-gaming, lethal company can answer every question. A marvelous, era-defining piece of game development.

i think its pretty obviously a mistake if 98% people can't tell or don't care to be able to tell the difference between multiple iterations of your game. SF4? SSF4? SSF5U? SF6SS:UX? who the hell actually cares? street fighter was never meant to be some niche, ultra competitive product. street fighter was accessible, it was mario and luigi and sonic but in different form. capcom and their bean counters really fumbled this franchise.
