I started playing this game off of steam almost four or five years back. I vaguely remember only completing Lily's good ending, and stopping there. I have no idea why I did.

It's an absolutely beautiful game. I think the storytelling is very solid, and it carries you through the whole VN. Almost every character felt engaging, even outside of their own routes.

My only complaint is that we don't get enough of some characters.

It's an older-style VN. But it has a charm I can't deny. Each character has complex issues unique to them. Then there's the disability aspect, of course, and it's something you don't really often see in visual novels, not even in anime at all honestly.

I agree when people say this is not a gooner game. Trust me, it isn't that type of game. Not at all.

The music is also great. I don't think it gets a lot of credit, but many pieces left me feeling emotional. I also think it fit the scenes well. There are a lot of choices, and a lot of content, if you're into that sort of thing. I'm an incredibly fast reader, and still, it took me almost 45 hours to finish all routes, with all choices, and all ending variants.

But it's worth it. Katawa Shoujo probably won't change your life or anything, but I think that if you like fulfilling stories, you'll love this game.

Lily and Rin best girls forever. Use guides if you want the endings.
