This is a very special game.

It's Final Fantasy 9. It's great. The port is fixed, runs great on Deck. You will see comments about using a "Moguri Mod" but this is a mistake, its main feature seems to be that it uses AI slop to "improve" the backgrounds. Do not use it.

At the time of writing I've only touched the first 12 games, going in "release order." It really nails the premise of finding a big pile of dusty floppies in a storage unit and booting them up to see what they are. All you get for them is a quick blurb, some "trivia" about the history of the game, and the controls - in some it really adds to the feeling that there should have been a manual you just don't have so you gotta puzzle out how the thing really works. It hasn't felt unfair about this so far though, which is great.

Essentially you are getting 50 really well polished and unique game jam games with a theme. That means if you, say, try the first game "Barbuta" and decide it's not for you - that's fine! Pick a different one! You don't gotta like or even beat all these things. Don't be a silly person on the forum.
