Never got the in game items. Steam won't refund.

10 days later and still haven't gotten my in-game items. Steam tells me to contact amazon and amazon tells me to contact steam. Neither of them will help. No refund and a chargeback puts my entire steam account at risk. So much for consumer protection. Amazon and Steam just stole this money from me.

Buggy game. Bought it for friends and it wouldn't even launch for them. Multiple crashes. Then there is the whole thing about how this game launches uplay.

Game has ads now. A game that charges full price now has ads.

I did an offline playthrough of the game when it came out due to cheaters and haven't played since. Boot up the game today and get the following message.

"Data fraud has been detected on your account, and no improvment has been seen."

SOO glad bamco is doing something about the cheaters!

Bamco's anti-cheat flagged my save with "Invalid data" and banned me from online play despite having never cheated. The fact that I see cheaters constantly online tells me that Bamco's anit-cheat only targets innocent players while allowing the cheaters to roam freely.

I have been a fan of La-Mulana since the original back in the mid 2000s. I actively followed the development of the remake and loved it even more. When the Kickstarter was announced for a sequel I immediately had to back it. Years later, after many struggles in development, we finally have La-Mulana 2. I'm still very early in the playthrough but i can already tell that this is another masterpiece.

Noteworthy things:
- Controls feel a bit more fluid compared to the first game.
- The UI has been greatly improved.
- The design still maintains the La-Mulana aesthetic while feeling new and fresh
- The game feels a little more hand holdy but in a good accessible way. (Common complaint of the first game)
- There is an actual story that flows in this one outside of the lore from tablets and Xelpud trolling you.
- A lot of mention of the first game. To the point of almost spoiling it. Play the first game if you haven’t.

I will have to come back and update this with a full review once I finish it. Great game so far.

Easily one of the best games I have played this year. Hyper Light Drifter perfectly captures the essence of retro gaming from my youth. I highly recommend this game to anyone who grew up playing NES and SNES. 10/10 play it now!
