This game feels like the spiritual successor to F-Zero. I streamed it on launch day, and my viewers had a blast. I tried playing around with the track editor, and found myself thoroughly enjoying the experience. I'm going to play around with it more in the future, because it's looks hella robust. The soundtrack slaps. Each song fits the vibe of the race. I can't wait to try multiplayer with some friends!

It's worth the price they're charging, by a wide margin. Go help an indie game dev who deserves it.

The base game is decent enough, but the workshop is what really sells this game. There are some very, very talented mapmakers out there. People that spend waaaay too much time making one course. But it's the most fun you'll have with friends.

This review will change when I can actually play the game. No, seriously. I have a GTX970, AMD FX-4350 @4.2GHz, and 32GB of RAM. The game crashes during the opening cinematic on fullscreen, borderless, and windowed mode. I have a support ticket in to Ubisoft, but it appears I'm not the only one.
