It’s true that Silksong is definitely more difficult than the first game. There were moments where my blood was boiling, and I just had to put the controller down and breathe.

But even through all that frustration, I can say without hesitation that everything you poured into this game was worth it.
Because that finale? That was PEAK. Absolutely unforgettable. The kind of ending that makes the entire struggle feel meaningful.

And just like I promised in my Hollow Knight review, I paid full price for Silksong. And I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Not recommended for solo, new players without friends who already play.
For new players, expect to be thrown into matches against high-level opponents who will completely stomp you. The matchmaking feels like it took one look at your level and said, “Ah yes, let’s feed them to the wolves.” If that sounds fun to you—well, this might be your game!

Now let’s talk about the real menace, the light class with a double-barrel shotgun and sword.
Who thought it was a good idea to give the smallest, fastest class invisibility, dash, and a shotgun that deletes you in two hits? Oh, and if that fails, they’ll just slice you to death with a sword while dancing around you. Mediums with riot shields and heavies with sledgehammers? Annoying, sure, but at least they don’t teleport into your face at Mach 10 like caffeinated ninjas.

To summarize, great game... if you're into pain.

It's more Phantom Thieves, what more could you ask for? Noir also finally got her spotlight. :D

The gameplay and mechanics are so much fun! While the gameplay is clunky I admit, I get used to it the more I played and I also get to understand and abuse the mechanics. You also get to swap between characters mid fight and learn their master arts (combos). It's really fun to jump the bosses, you know, beating the crap outta them. The MUSIC in this game is ABSOLUTE BANGER. They get me really hype during fights and the sound effects, the cut-ins? Ooooooh, they are so satisfying.

Well, to those complaining about the gameplay and mechanics being bad. You're actually wrong, it's you who's bad. You have skill issue. XD

Personally, I feel like Persona 3 has the worst pacing compared to the P4G and P5R. The story was actually very good, but it took a very long time to reach that particular good part. What's insane is that, the ending left me hanging with questions and I am required to play The Answer expansion DLC (pretty expensive I'd say) to get like a closure to the story. Do I like the ending after The Answer? Yes, more than the other two persona games I have played. Was it worth the price? No, The Answer should've been in the main game and not as a DLC. Contents, there's not much things you can do daily compared to P4G. Social links, they feel bland and uninteresting. Though, I can understand that it's a faithful remake that tries to maintain its original charms with new graphics, modern QOL and stylized UI.

The story was very slow at first, it took me some time to get engaged with the story. From the on, it just keeps getting better and better until the end. I really love the visuals and UI in this game, it's very unique which fits the story and the style of the game. The music is great as well, it's got that chill vibe during normal battles and "I'm about to kick your ass" kinda vibe during boss battles (I am about to kick their ass, for real). Speaking of for real, take a shot every time someone says FOR REAL in the game. In terms of content, it's got a whole lot of contents and QOL compared to P4G and I'm all for it.

My first persona game. The story got me locked in from the beginning, and boy, the music is ABSOLUTE BANGER. It even got Yosuke the BEST BRO to vibe to the music with his headphones on screaming "Counting on ya", pulling out his persona and not the spider-man himself (English voice). Great casts of characters, everyone is likable.

Great story, art, music and combat mechanics! I actually enjoyed the lore and spent some time on the internet to further understand it. The last area managed to give me this unsettling feeling including the music, which it succeeded!

However.. the level design and enemy placements are bad. I almost dropped the game again the second time because of how annoying the enemies were and how they were placed just to swarm you. As for the world, it felt empty and I didn't have much fun exploring.
