This game has provided many hours of fun for many players. It is definitely worth a look and you should plan to get all the DLC if possible. It is a tower defense game that allows you to build DPS characters to aide your towers if you want. So if you like building or just the run and gun or both, it has something for everyone. Really high end stats and items can take a little time to obtain but it is a lot of fun playing maps over and over again to get those nice items.

Note: Tinkers Lab DLC is not included in the Collection so make sure to purchase it separately.

Still under development. Lacks many features that are already in DD1 while not offering much new yet.

Update 12-22-14
Bug wise the game has improved. Still lags and can be difficult to join a tavern. I believe most maps from DD1 are now included in DDE. However there are still no boss rewards, no kick feature, no pause and gear is basically handed to you on each map with the introduction of divine and corrupted gear. You cant improve shots per second or projectile speed. Whoever heard of shooting guns at 1 shot per second? just too slow for me. And of course no diamond pets. I sure miss those beauties.
