Restricting a player’s freedom to implement their own solutions in order to make the software bearable is a huge con move.
An anti cheat has no place in this game. Obviously it‘s not put there to stop crashers or make the app any more secure, it’s purely there to force consumers to use in-App subscriptions and transactions to appease shareholders.
They are very much aware how much this would backlash onto their own reputation, only to respond with the middle finger to the entire community.
No middle ground has been found or even attempted on their side to make up for the countless of Accessibility and performance features necessary for people to play.
They promised to implement these features in the future, which at the pace they have been going will take years. Years players hopefully established themselves in other social VR games which at least partially care about their users.

A rollercoaster of emotions packaged with graphics on-par with firwatch and a clear message as ribbon on top. Very happy to see games with soul put into come out these days. If you dig pretty singleplayer exploration and story driven games, you found yourself a new journey - to the brink of extinction.

A well needed application for the ones paranoid about their surroundings or just wanting to know if that call about your car's extended warranty is worth picking up.

It's incredibly easy to set up, even for IOS, of course with its limitations. So let's clear some limitations up for iOS:

Cons:

-You cannot reply to any messages or look at the photo you just got sent from whatsapp (which i assume is an IOS restriction)
-Somehow at startup spams all your notifications left over in your phone from a day ago, so it takes a good two minutes before your controller stops vibrating and notifications stop.
-No mass clear on notifications.
-No Timestamps
-For me video preview inside VR doesnt work, only black screen (does properly transfer and show up on mobile though)

Pros:

+Very easy to connect
+Proper notifications in-game
+Easy to record footage of your VR games
+Peephole/cam works as advertised
+Dims your phone's screen to optimize battery life


It's all pretty basic functionality, However it does save you the trouble of putting down your headset just to read the messages from your girlfriend leaving you.

(EDIT):
After countless of updates the developers threw into our faces, they have not disappointed, providing fixes for almost all negative aspects I initially had one-two years ago.
Index controls are now on-par with other Titles along with finger tracking for far better immersion.
The strikethrough below shows that they really did care about the feedback and make this game a far more enjoyable experience.
A huge thanks to the dev team for their dedication to the craft.



The Radius is about surviving an apocalypse.

Mystery and apocalypse is a great mix, if anything this game makes it clear of just how much your curiosity might overcome the very technical problems associated with this software.
You will find yourself in a wasteland filled with a lot of places to explore, weapons to try out, and a very unique atmosphere which follows you through this game. However this only lasts as long as you can maintain control of your weapons and items. Which you might lose sooner than you think.

The index controls will freak out as soon as a single drop of sweat makes it over your controllers. Not letting go of items when releasing and not properly grabbing make me want to hate this game every time i go into it. As far as my VR experience goes these things never happened in other shooters.
A lot of glitches inhabit the game such as your item you hold making noises when walking, giving you a really good scare before becomming progressively more annoying later in game. Weapons might leave your world when you just quickly need to put them on the ground to grab something else.
While they improved the overall lighting, some artifacts make things seem pretty wonky. Small orange particles appearing in/out of vision for seemingly no reason, the border walls flickering in a solid color, as well as missing fog depth to the border. (appears like a 2d png fog around you)
Majority of missions are rather repetitive. You go to location x, get something/kill something and return it to the pretty dull looking and creepy noise making base.
A nitpick would also include things such as typos during loading screen.

So wow thats a lot of negative stuff... What's good about it???

Well fella, this game is a huge mystery box filled with surprises and a story people like me are really addicted to.
It's a horror experience at its core, the Map is big and the enemies plenty enough to give you a good scare at least a couple of times. A lot of room for imagination and theories as you pass surreal structures and places adding to the already rather tense atmosphere. You will get more accustomed to your surroundings and begin to make hunt for the big fish at the far corner of the radius with the weapons you just cleaned back to their shiny original state. You will always reevaluate the path you take for the least chance of dying, at which point the story probably got you hooked really good.
Despite being out of early access, the developers actively work on making this game more balanced, with a lot of issues you will see reviews nagging about getting ironed out bit by bit.

The Radius despite its flaws is an apocalyptic experience i definitely recommend to anyone into this horror/mystery/action mix, even with the chance you might build a love/hate relationship with it.

Really great software for people who aren't satisfied with a static background. many nice features and good interface.
Of course there are some problems (at least for me) but the developer shows really cooperative and helped me fixing the most of them.

Overall i can only recommend it and can't wait for more wallpapers and stuff people come up in the future!

Everspace is a great space game which i totally recommend, even in this stage!

What Everspace IS:
Everspace is a fast paced open-area with many different bioms to explore!
It has;
-great voice acting
-stunning graphics (see screenshots below)
-great optimisation (runs at max except anti aliasing at about 60 fps almost everywhere on my gtx 860m and i7-4740)
-addictive gameplay with replayablility
-Good controls

What it ISN'T:
-A multiplayer-Coop game (don't expect it anytime soon)
-An open world game (no planets to land on and you die if you drift too far away from the actual battlefield).
-A yet finished game

It is overall a great singleplayer with lovely characters. as long as you don't mind that it's still early access
its a good experience

Really nice game. I usually get dissapointed every time I try such a flight game. But this one really has potential.

Positive:
-workshop
-nice upgrades/weapons so you can customize your plane like you want
-Nice flight/targeting mechanics
-Really fun if you are into games like this.
-firing/destroying targets feels really nice.

Negative:
-many enemys look the same
-you don't have a general target of the game, only destroying and staying alive.

It doesn't really have the attention it deserves. Try it out. I'm excited to see what the devs do in the future!
