I believe 2023 is going to be a big soup of Open world survival games. Like in my opinion, Patience is only grown with this kind of games thats why I prefer them. Among the kings like Rust, DayZ, 7 Days to Die and SCUM thats been in the game for a long time, time to time comes a survival game that will not survive among the kings. At least the Kings of how many play them on Steamcharts.com.

Im not so sure yet on where I have No One Survived, but one thing is clear even if this is another Early Stage Survival, I am having fun. This might be a game that will die on people playing, or might have to survive hard when other titles too are coming.

But lets be more specific to the game:

+ Unreal Engine 5
+ To be a Early Early Stage, this game has plenty of thing done right
+ The Base Building is cool
+ There are a lot of things you can craft
+ The AI is ok, and hard when you have the right server settings
+ Some times the game looks pretty good
+ The are some cool places in the map
+ The Lootable areas, like houses and such looks good
+ The game has skills even though Im not so sure if it is balanced of it works
+ The game has education books (still not 100% sure how it works)
+ The game does have cars (even though they look simple made)
+ The crafting is ok and fast.
+ You can craft a lot of benches and stuff
+ you can farm nodes
+ The weather effects are pretty cool
+ There is some FPV in the guns aim.

Basically this game got LOADS of the fundamental done right.

Now the cons:

- There are some weird noises in the atmosphere birds, and some animals sound need work
- The animal AI is stupid
- The Cars are terrible made.
- The map sometimes feels made in a hurry
- The animations need more work
- The Main Menu, and UI can sometimes be buggy, not understandable due language and confusing
- The Multiplayer is limited to 10, this game should have Dedicated official servers WITH
teams and locks for doors.
- Its not possible to add people to team, but the ones who join server shows on map..
- Map needs rework too.
- The AI can sometimes clip through the walls of your base.

Well conclution then:

Surely will be playing this game for while more, and it surely will be my "backup plan" like other survival in case, SCUM takes to long in development, or Rust adds more crappy content. But for me it feels like a very well done game at its early stage. But I surely think the Cat Play Studio will need to work hard, to differ and keep people playing this game when the other new games are around the corner. But for the price, So far well done!

Not my type of game. Even lags to be a 20 year old game. I had to check since this company just bought SCUM

Great Sound, Great graphics, pretty fun action. Maybe a bit to paced for my taste, and it takes a HELL of a long time to
load into a game.

But its great!

I love survival games, but very few space games do it right.

This feels like playing Quake or Unreal Tournament, Rust, Cyberpunk 2077 and Icarus at the same time.

The Graphics are good, the Gameplay is good, The UI takes tike to understand but it becomes pretty intuitive once you get hang of it. The survival aspect is pretty close to both Rust and Icarus. The building stuff is pretty cool.

The PvP feels intensive and the PvE A.I. is great ad entertainment. Only thing Im a bit unsure about this game in my few hours is the spawn time on this A.I. wich sometimes feels like Conan (it respawns to fast maybe?). Maybe the decay goes to fast too. The skills are fun too, even though the keybindings are abit unusal.

Apparently the process of story and proceding to escape this island, its promising, on things i havent experience yet.

The POI can be fun, though I feel im injecting myself through the process of taking POI. There sre a lot of fun though.

The Cars feels a bit cheap made too, but there apparently some cool fast choices to them. I didnt try the mechs yet but it certantly cool as ♥♥♥♥ to fight against them.

And yes those can be hard A.I.



OVERALL having a great time, cant wait to wake up and try again! Hopfully this game get to be a great popular Space Survival PvP/PvE game!

Well I have to do something while I wait for SCUM 0.8 Early Stage, wich is around the corner..

This game is an Early Stage since the exact same date SCUM also got released, and this seems that i hasent got very far...

The A.I. is terrible, the animation are bad. the U.I looks intuitive but its worse than SCUM and other Survival Games. The Map is small and lags hard... There is no Coop, or Multiplayer, and maybe thank good for that?!

Nah this game would not come very far, at least I tried it. But I dont think its worth using more time on this game. Like its cheap thats good.

PEOPLE SERIOUSLY, STOP playing what you are playing. Because game is not only free to play right now. But this game usually cost 40 USD! now at 10 USD! Burgoun!

I Highly underestimated one of the most popular Open World Survival game on Steam Charts. Its has PvE, you cna craft alot of ♥♥♥♥, looks better than Ark, feels like Rust. And there is PvP too.

One of the best features is the Melee of this game.

There is Religion in this game, you can tame, map are cool, and YES you have nice ass and boobs too.

Highly unrealistic shooter game. Its a mess, all from the graphics, the main menu, the shooting, the animations, the A.I. is super stupid and a soup of bad coding. But hell at least it was free, lol

What is the best survival game in between Rust PVP, and SCUM PVP/PVE? Well its ICARUS... ? Or...?

Well wait a second, I do have many hours on the BETA Test. So let me be totally honest. Let me review the BETA, Discord Moderators (YES THAT RIGHT!) then Ill give a review on the 1.0 release:

BETA:

There is amount of Space Survival games out there and none to this date has done it right in my opinion. ICARUS crafting stuff is both innovative fast AND takes time at the same time. This is clearly something in between the both worlds of Rust and maybe SCUM too. Its fast because it reminds you of Rust when you are crafting, but it also takes time (like SCUM) because its not that easy to for example upgrade to Stone walls either. Its really well made. This game also reminds you alot of another singleplayer survival game that is also really good, Subnautica. So in fact if Rust gets to have threesome with SCUM and Subnautica you will get Icarus..

The graphics looks very good, and up to date. (BETA) The dynamic of the weather affecting your base is really fun, and you need to take care of the base everynow and then.
The animations are not so good on the player, and small things such as the rain looks weird, sometime you find glitches like when entering the cave and stuff but dont affect the gameplay. Hopefully the spend bit more time on the animation and movement of the players.

The modular base building is really good, but its a bit pain in the ass sometimes since you tend to missclick in the wrong place. Its relativly easy to fix though once you get a hang of it. samething happend when you craft you tend to craft double up sometimes. If it was my mouse though it will problaby happend in the others games too.

The fish and wolves looks weird to me too, but the bear and deer are really well done. that goat still goes to fast and i think they should nerf the animals a bit and, let the world feel a bit more natural. Decays also happend to fast even you have talent point that prevent that.

The biggest negative side on this game is that im pretty sure people will find out it would be perfect to have some PvP in the game too. Hopefully there is a option to create servers that has PvP on. This way the game would be way more fun in the long run. The game has Multyplayer friendly mode though, but kinda the fun is to raid and kill eachother too. Thats why Rust, DayZ is very popular and surely soon SCUM too. I understand some of the community dont want that, but if you have the option to turn orff PvP in some servers it would not be a big deal anyway and ICARUS developers problaby will gain more people playing this game.

The games stability and performance might lag from time to time, but since I been playing with a couple of guys too, it seems to handle it well. Regarding a big map and perhaps like 10 people playing, or 4 squads in the same map it would a lot of fun to both cooperate and PvP against eachother.

Otherwise i cant wait to explore more and encounter more PvE too, the amount of ores to mine and thing to gather is pretty fun. I hope there will be some cool weapons to craft too other than the shotgun and longbow, since its a Space game after all. Just dont go to crazy.

DISCORD MODERATORS AND SOME OF THE FANBOYS:

Talking in general about ideas for the game, will eventually get you ban. I HAVE NEVER IN MY ENTIRED LIFE AS A GAMER SEEN SUCH A STUBBORN IDIOT LIKE THE MODERATOR ON DISCORD. If you want to to discuss something like for example PVP in a game, that kid will ban you, and yes I have seen him ban other as well in a very thin reason. But there is a overall fanboy toxic cloud over this game, that will eventuelly break the game more than it is.


NOW THE FINAL 1.0 RELEASE:

- Man the developers of this has to have a Cyberpunk Console as inspiration. The Final release, was even worse than the beta! Optimatization is so bad, it lags on a RTX 2080Ti, and try to even put the Field of View to max! You will see the worse fish Eye I ever seen. The Global Ilumitnation RTX, is not as seen in the pictures...

- Game lags more than before and looks worse than before.

- They didnt fix the weird animations.

- They didnt added an PvP option (that is really simple to do really)

- They mouse hovers on the wrong place in main menu or HUD (you basically have to click in the blinds) They fixed this on the Hotfix

- They added a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ timer! on the mission and some of the things are still getting a message coming soon! I though that was only for the BETA, but they even added on the normal way of playing...

- Missions are boring, and the game is basically a Running Simulator, where you have to go across the map and hope you dont stomp into a bear. I was building a base till level 12 on first mission also, the game didnt say that had to go to dropp capsule to end misson, but since Ifigure out, I was pretty dissapointed that the next mission I spawned the same place, but base was gone...


AND SUPER DISSAPOINTED ABOUT THE DEVS, GAME & FANBOY COMMUNITY!
