Yes, I started with dune2, then wolf3d, doom and then quake mapmaking/modding, where I learned to use the same editor which portal 1 and 2 uses :)

You made some of my favorite Workshop maps for portal 2 so you deserve respect! I wish there is a entire mod based around those outdoor test-chambers.

Yes, I was wrong, this is more to the design of locations and a mini plot, if I may say so. Coming soon, Portal 2 Community Edition might give you a lot of puzzle ideas. In any case, I look forward to your future work! Good luck!

Thats not a puzzle idea :) I have many scene idea, one is for the timetravel cocnept, with 4-5 different (more decayed) version of the same facility, solving the same rooms but different ways, gathering power batteries for the gate, fixing indicator strips (similar to map 3) but dont know the actual puzzle.... also an outdoor coop deathmatch map to kill the other x times, portaling under to send to different traps/acids/firepits, activate turrets, crushers at the right time, gels etc.... or another tomb-raider style open cave map with ancient wooden mechanisms, but again... dont know what kind of puzzles should I use... also tried to make the coop version of NoMoney2 but in coop you die in water so must rework all the map in addition to make the puzzles coop.

Idea for the puzzle: part of the aperture complex, which is located next to each other from the half life. I really look forward to cards from you. You are my favorite mapper portal 2!

all .vmt must have "UnlitGeneric" in first line (and not "Sky"), and then just basetexture and nofog lines (and sometimes basetexturetransform), delete everything else for example ignorez... also in VTFedit, clampS and clampT must be checked, if you downloaded the skybox from gamebanana then usually must do these fixes to work in portal without glitches
