its a great shooter with some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ music, but i felt like some of the levels drag on too much

Its a decent game and a great remake, somewhat repetitive and limited combat. No major bugs, although I've had one hard reset after loading a mission in Area 42. Get it on sale for a nostalgia trip.

one hell of a great fps game, rarely do shooters get better than this. a must play for all fps fans.

Decent little game to spend some time with and relax. I found it works really well with post-rock in the background.

One of the best games to have come out this year. Simply brilliant. Do yourself a favour and get this game, play it blind, in one sitting and try not to sell your soul. You won't be disappointed.

Not for everyone I guess, but I certainly enjoyed the whole experience. Definitely an interesting way to tell a story.

The game with the villain most in need of a hug. Trully amazing. Amazing gameplay, amazing levels, great music, shotouts to older games. A love story that will survive the test of time.

To sum it up in one word: bad.

The kinda longer review:

The controls are bad, it just doesn't feel smooth, something you'd expect from a platformer. The gameplay in general feels bad. Swinging the axe doesn't have any weight behind it, plus the unconsistant hitboxes .. oh man. And may I ask, how many times you have to hit a zombie in the head with a fire-axe for it to die?

The voice acting is awful. It felt like watching a PC commercial from the late 80s.

The design of some of the levels, ok - most of the levels, is just bad and boring, with some places being just unfair, leading to the bad kind of rage.

Some of the things don't really make sense. Like being able to move on electric cables while the power in the hospital is still on, while the rest of the world has none.

The story and the characters .... I don't even wanna go there. Ever watched "Goosebumps"? This is worse.

The atmosphere and the music in general were good.


So, unless you get this on a sale/bundle or you're absolutely mad about zombie platformers, I can't recommend this game.



p.s. Eurogamer, are you out of your mind? Best downloadable title on the market? Really?

Manly tears aside, To the Moon is a masterpiece. Im blown away. Im left speechless. One of the best experiences in my whole life.
