I wish Stern would just abandon their video game and give Zen studios the licenses. This is the best pinball sim hands down.

I love the yakuza series. I've played nearly every entry in the series to completion. This one is more of that same formula with a lot of quality of life improvements. So why the negative review? The main centerpiece aspect of this game is the pirate ship battles and the amount of times the game has crashed from the machine gun or simply charging into another ship is unacceptable. Trying to complete the competition battles in Madlantis is an absolute chore because constantly you will get to the 2nd or 3rd battle in a tournament and the game will crash mid battle forcing you to start all over again. Additionally, upon rebooting the game and pressing continue the game will load the most recent manual save instead of the most recent autosave forcing you to load the game twice or lose hours of progress unless you manual save often. It's really unfortunate because otherwise this has been my favorite entry in the franchise, but I just absolutely cannot recommend this to non hardcore fans in it's current state.

The only thing missing is a hasselhoff costume for the ghost surf board

If you're a fan of super hero shows in the same vein of The Boys + Invincible, and if you like choose your adventure style games, then this game is for you. Gameplay is similar to TellTale Games without the walking simulator bits. Really hope this game gets all the flowers it deserves.

Exactly my kind of game. At times some of the best graphics I've seen in gaming. The game is stunning in HDR on an ultrawide monitor with widescreen mods. I have a high end machine with a 5070 Ti. I ran the game on ultra settings with DLSS enabled and experienced a stable 60 fps 90% of the time with occasional slow downs and freezes. At times it was bad to the point I had to close the game and verify the integrity of the files to stop the memory leak bug from happening. Due to these reasons I'd recommend waiting for a sale before you try if you have an nvidia card. I hope they make more final fantasy games with this style of combat system. I just wish square enix would optimize their pc ports better.

Absolute gem of a game. Did everything you can do except for unlock all achievements in just under 9 hours. Wish it were longer but for only $18 I was super impressed by the level of detail and how well the controls felt. 11/10 game.

This game does a lot right, but the synergy attack system is AWFUL. To do any synergy attack (ultimate attack) you need to press Y, Y, (pause) Y, Y, Y but it only ever registers like 20% of the time and while trying to input this string you'll almost always get hit by something no matter how fast you dodge or press counter. It really sucks because every other part of this game feels amazing.
