what? how have I not reviewed this game yet? it's one of my favourite multiplayer games on Steam (and on switch!) if not top favourite game ever. I can always come back to it and have a BLAST!
What makes this game so cool is that it is the ONLY ONE that is hilarious when I die instead of frustrating or punishing. there are so many funny ways to die, and it's so fun setting traps and trolling your friends.

Not sure what the problem is, but this game crashes constantly for me. It crashed 3 times before I even got to play a round.. crashed during the tutorial, in the menus, even when I wasn't even doing anything but worst of all has disconnected me from several matches.. and just now the entire computer restarted and now 7 friends are playing without me. I am not sure if it's a software or hardware problem, but I'm running a Ryzen 7 7700X and a Radeon RX 6750 XT with 32GB of RAM on Steam on Windows 10.

What an amazing game. The graphics are incredible, the physics are amazing, I was surprised to see so much of the scenery is destructible! (makes sense, going 200MPH hitting a road sign -should- feel like almost nothing, not a dead stop) and obliterating curved stone walls during a drift feels (and looks!) so satisfying!
The gameplay took me back to the Need For Speed Carbon and Most Wanted days. so thrilling hitting the open road (or fields too!) and near missing cars or hitting jumps or obstacles. (the only thing missing from that is cops chasing you, but it's nice to have a break from that here. smash away with no consequences hehe.)
I've been looking for a good racing game to scratch that itch and I've definitely found it here. First time jumping in and I was glued for 9 and a half hours.

I'm sorry. I can't enjoy this game when I have to remap all of my controls every time I try to play the game.
I used to love this game. when my controls weren't resetting every update..
Even when I try to load my saved profiles (and checking to make sure the controls are what I want) it appears to load it when pressing square to "load profile" but in game its like the controls are default.
This is driving me crazy.

This game is fun to play with friends, but that's about it.. it gets a lot less fun with people you don't know or cheaters or people that just grab you and throw you off the edge.
I was never a fan of the Fortnite-style loot/customization style, having an EXTREMELY poor and small selection for a short (or long) period of time is RIDICULOUS to me. I want a shop where I can see all the options. maybe I just prefer RPG's where I have to find the good shops and then remember where they are.

but!
to top it all off the game was just bought by Epic. That is an immediate delete and blacklist.
and it's too bad, I was really excited for Fall Guys coming to switch.

Are you less of a redstoner and more of a builder? explorer? miner? hunter? crafter? healer? trader? blacksmith? guildmaster? Then this game is for you.
You can't do it all with one character but you can specialize in whatever you want. That's what makes this game more of an MMORPG, you get skill points you can allocate to different abilities or buffs.. after maxing out your useable skill points at 50 you keep gaining skill points up to level 150 that you can use on another skill set (max of 3) if you really only want to play with one character and specialize in more than one thing. Also if you prefer using alts or like roleplaying, you can create up to ten alternate characters with one account.
Boundless is such a fantastic game. It has come so far since I first saw Sl1pg8r's video in late 2014 and they're still consistently adding stuff and will continue to for the forseeable future.

I was glued to Minecraft for years but once I started playing Boundless I haven't touched it since.. it checks all the boxes that Minecraft did and more.. The only thing it doesn't have is a redstone equivalent, but there are so many other things you can do to keep yourself busy, building different machines, item crafting and customization.. hunting is great in groups because everybody can get loot from dead creatures, exploring different worlds and walking through seamless instant portals to other worlds, the entire Boundless universe is interconnected across platforms (pc/mac and PS4).

One thing I must say though. The developers at Wonderstruck are absolutely amazing, they have a great vision for the game and they are truly working towards it. They are also active in the community and play with us as well and they also listen to our feedback and implement suggestions.
And then there's the community. this community is the best. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and there are a lot of resources for info and quick answers on the forums and discord channel. Even in game when you come across someone you are greeted with a /wave and sometimes they'll show you around if you're new.

If you enjoy voxel games I would highly recommend Boundless!
