This game is the Adobe Flash version of Vampire Survivors, with out all the love and care that was taken to create VS! Nomad Survival feels like it was thrown together in a week without any testing being done other then a once through to make sure the game was functional. Every single level feels over tuned, destined for you to end up resetting a 20 minute run to go back to the main menu and purchase upgrades, this feels bad. All of the characters I played and unlocked in 5 hours ended up being not fun at all to play, and never felt like they spiked in power at all. The Crusader was the exception to that, he felt very powerful once I was able to get the auras he needed to deal AOE damage. Upon hitting the 3rd level in the game with the perk that gives him double damage but will not allow you to gain health at all once you lose it, I felt super under powered all of a sudden and was unable to last more then 13 minutes on this level, even after I had a run where I had level 7 damage level 8 crit and level 9 crit damage. Again, FEELS BAD MAN. I dont wanna go back to the main menu screen to "Upgrade" the base ability powers over and over just to die again and do the same thing. To many abilities, that makes every single run feel way way to heavy on RNG to be able to build in to something that you want to do rather then something that you had to throw together since the RNG didn't go your way. Hit boxes are wonky/janky, I can be clearly not touching a mob on my screen, yet I take damage from the game, due to the hit box being way bigger then the sprite.

All in all I cant say to buy this game for $5, I see why I was given a key to this game for free. If its on sale for under $2 I still cant see why you would play this over Vampire Survivors. I would honestly not waste your time on this even if you love rouge likes, this game really really feels like it could have been x1000 better if shown more love but sadly it was not.

The devs admit to the match making being rigged, along with the shuffler.

The game wants to be isometric single player tarkov and the gun play is meh at best, grindy and boring dont waste your time.
