while i like the story, and the chao garden is great, ultimately the gameplay is lacking unless your name is sonic or shadow. and if the gameplay doesn't lack, then the level design or camera is going to attempt to ruin your fun. if you arent nostalgic for this game, dont bother

You'll probably only like this if you like both the Elder Scrolls universe and MMO gameplay. This does not play at all like Skyrim or the other games, it plays like an MMO (grinding, abilities similar to WoW) and takes quite a bit of patience to understand fully.
Also, word of note, if you're gonna buy this, don't buy it on Steam unless it's cheaper. Even if you don't run into issues with refunds/billing (if you're gonna buy any microtransactions), you are going to have to log into ESO twice, through Steam and with an ESO account. You also won't be able to family share ESO or switch Steam accounts very easily.
