Judge Dredd 最近的评测

I recall playing the first Dark Castle as my first video game when I was a wee lad on an old Apple II. This retains much of the original, the sequel and then adds onto it with it's own spin on the series. A piece of gaming history that isn't much talked about or known but was well ahead of it's time in many ways. Can't recommend giving this a look enough. The mechanics are simple: 3 kinds of jumps, rock throwing and then some upgrades in a shield and fireballs give you tools to engage in platforming in an intuitive and rewarding way. Art style is faithful yet updated to keep the familiar look of the original with a more palatable appearance for modern tastes. Difficulties don't make the enemies tougher or hit harder (you still die to an arrow in one hit) but change placement of enemies, add or remove items and change map layouts making each difficulty play differently and presenting new challenges. Well worth the price for hours of gameplay.

El Presidente has ordered me to give this game all the thumbs up! Now I just need to tell everyone to hold their thumbs up.
