Games are supposed to be fun. This is not fun.

Fishing: Barents Sea is OK, a bit grindy to get enough cash to buy the trawler boat but one can get there. One day. Maybe. Thought i'll take a break from FBS and start with Fishing: North Atlantic, gosh, imagine one buys Soccer Mum Simulator and the tutorial takes one by the hand and wants to show one how to drive. Safely.

Approach the vehicle, search for and take key out of handbag, point cursor and highlight door lock , press A to insert key, then press and hold A to unlock door. After door clicks, press and hold B to remove key from lock, highlight door handle and press and hold A to open door.

Swing door wide enough in order to get in. Sit down, pull door handle to close door, adjust rear view mirror with A+arrows, highlight safety belt and fasten. Put car in neutral, pull hand brake up, insert key into ignition. Turn key.

Nothing happens. Tutorial prompts one to read the Wiki, one is not supposed to start driving before checking all 4 tyres are in good operational order. Remove keys from ignition, unfasten safety belt, put into storage function, gear lever back into 1st gear, highlight door handle, open door....

I got to the part in the opening lobster tutorial thingy where i (finally) had a live lobster in my hand, ready to drop it into the blue plastic container. Kinda missed the bit where sommin of sommin was supposed to NOT fit in between sommin else, but by then i was already grumpy enough with all this yadda yadda and decided that lobster is probably big enough for the fish police. I hoped. And then no dice, can't drop the lobster into the box with no rubber bands.

Fair enough, all i've done up to that point is probably 100% realistic, no short cuts, no compromise, i get it. And lobster fishing is probably the simplest form of fishing in the game...

It is just not fun.
