You know what really blows my mind to pieces? How god-**** versitile potatoes are. They have got to be the single most flexible root vegetable known to mankind. I mean seriously, we are talking about a big amorphous hunk of carbohydrates that can take the form of a crispy wafer, or a smashed pile of slop. Think about that for a second. You could have two of the same exact potato, and turn one into fried sticks, and the other you can cut a slit right down the middle and jam it full of butter and sour cream, and both are amazing!!! Mankind has certainly come a long way in terms of the many uses for potatoes, from alarm clocks to butt plugs, potatoes seem to be the most useful vegetable around.
