A wonderful game made by developers that were clearly very passionate about what they were making, which sadly seems to be a rare sight now days. I cannot understand why this game seems to have passed so quietly under so many peoples radars.

Fight Knight plays like somebody turned Punch-Out into a first person dungeon crawling adventure game, and then cranked the action and speed up to eleven. The game can be very difficult in some places, and it does not auto save so you will find times were you have to trek all the way back to town to save your progress before you die, however the game is generous with its short cuts so the back tracking isn't too bad.

The story is entertaining and heartwarming, and the game is filled with a variety of cute, funny, and well written characters that I was surprised to find myself getting very attached to. Almost every time i went to town I would stop by the various NPCs to see if they had anything new to say.

The sound track is one of the best parts of the game and I keep finding myself going back to YouTube to listen to my favorite tracks again and again. Every song fits the game perfectly and really helps with player immersion whether you are exploring mysterious crypts, fighting a dangerous boss, or talking with one of the games many lovable characters.

Fight Knight is one of the best games I have played in a while and is easily my personal game of the year for 2021.
If this looks like your kind of game, I highly recommend giving it a chance!

Truly epic! One of the best games I have played in ages. Shovel Knight perfectly embodies everything that was good about the NES. I don't have a single negative thing to say about it. No review could ever do this game justice. So what are you doing still reading this review? Go and play the game already!

I can't believe it's not Dead Space! Seriously if you are a fan of Dead Space GET THIS GAME! Although the voice acting can be a bit cheesy at times the game's intresting puzzles, haunting soundtrack, intriguing story, and excellent combat system more than make up for any of this game's fallacies. Hell you'd be insane to pass this game up!
