Why does this have the automation tag? This almost plays more like a grindy idler game.
Honestly, the game isn't too bad, but there is a severe lack of depth. Place a building anywhere, and it works globally
I would like to see some complexity, like, for example, things like an adjacency bonus for buildings, localized electricity or some benefits to housing items (temp buffs?) or maybe some automation for resources and crafting (depends on where the devs want this game to go, but if it's manual labor, the labor should be fun)

The biggest issue for me is the farming resources gameplay loop: walk somewhere, pick up one single item, and continue. Many games have added some (optional) minigames to farming resources. Like Rust or Fortnite farming mechanic (random weak spot) and some larger resource veins in certain hotspots, where the player can be like, "I need iron, let's go to the iron place" similar to how the game handles the later resources, like iridium or osmium, but smaller and more frequent hotspots.
