Starfield serves as a monument why Bethesda should've retained actual competent writers like Michael Kirkbride and should've ended Emil Pagliarulo's life in a ditch outside the studio after the release Oblivion. Emil cannot write a competent world or story to save his own skin, he is the polar opposite of Kirkbride. If Kirkbride was actually in charge of Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Skyrim and now Starfield, Bethesda's reputation as a 'good studio that released good games' would've actually had merit.

The illusion of that Bethesda releasing good games has now been completely shattered with Starfield. I genuinely hope for everyone's sake that Bethesda does a complete 180 and ship Emil to the glue factory where he should've been shipped to 15 years ago.

I've been playing this game for a long, long time. While I've enjoyed the game for a long time and still do now and then, this game seriously needs an overhaul in many aspects. Some of the structural problems it still has stem from years ago.
