Great concept, great ability to contribute to the game during cut scenes and fight scenes to keep you glued to the screen at all times. I love the contrast of different personalities and having to balance all of them. What really sets this game apart is the voice acting and the great story. But something must be said about the soundtrack. This game probably has the best game soundtrack in 2025 in my opinion. Great work all around by the team that put this game together.

This game has been a blessing. The way the Devs have continued to support it and continued with massive updates to continually make this game more immersive and more realistic has been a breath of fresh air. This game allows you to understand what it is like to be on a member of a tactical team that goes into the unknown. You get to also now walk around the station between missions and tour different areas within a police department. It is based on the Los Angeles Police Department from the looks of it and I must say that while it isn't completely accurate it is pretty close. If you are looking for a cool tactical shooter with in depth customization this is the game for you.

This game is one of the games that is so much fun that you just keep coming back to it. But it is also one of those games that is so in depth, that you never really feel like you really know what you're doing completely. At least that is how I feel. I have played just under 100 hours and I still feel like a complete noob. There are so many different ways to structure your units with support elements, artillery, cavalry, mechanized, motorized, armor, airborne, mountain troops, you name it and it's probably in this game. I love the historical accuracy they have in the game too. You can set it to where the game will re-enact the events from WWII which is a really cool touch. If you are thinking of buying this game, go to Paradox Interactive's website. They seem to have the game on some really good sales when steam doesn't. You can get the game for 75% off sometimes. Definitely worth a buy even at full price though!

I don't write many reviews, but I feel Cartel Tycoon deserves to be recommended. It is a game that right now, is in early access. It has come a long way thanks to the developers. They have been listening to feedback apparently because they have incorporated great ideas to make the game not only more fun, but also more engaging. You actually start to develop relationships or loyalty to your lieutenants, which is a cool aspect. I have ran a story mission where I picked a lieutenant at the beginning of the game and tried to do my best to keep him happy and promote him until he was right under me. He became so expensive I ended up just having to have a new lieutenant kill him so that the cartel could survive. This game reminds me of the game Godfather 2. It is a management game, but not just managing resources and money. You're also managing a family, which is super cool. For that fact, this game, right now, is unlike anything else you can get right now. One of the best games I've played as an Early Access title. Definitely think about getting it if you're a strategy or management fan.

Are you a fan of strategy games? But also like a challenge? A real challenge where your enemy is the weather and the whole time if feels like it has leet hax? Then this is the game for you. This game is very fun and challenging at the same time. You have to balance resource production, heating, housing, managing hope and discontent within your populace all while trying to not get your entire population frozen to death or having a peg-leg amputee army. This game is very well made and the buildings and textures all look really nice. The sound and graphics really add something to this game. I've played the game for nearly 10 hours now and I still really enjoy playing it. I love being able to play a game that is a challenging one, but not so challenging that it drowns the fun out of the experience. Really 11 bit studios are beasts at making strategy games and games that aren't like other strategy games. You really have to think about the decisions you make when critical events happen. Do you want to take a group of strangers wandering the frozen wasteland? Do you just want to take the healthy people? Or do you want to tell them all to pound sand? The choice is yours. But be ready for your populace to give you the finger if you make a decision that they don't agree with. To be honest it's fun to make decisions that piss your people off and then try to win them back by opening a bar and making moonshine. Nothing like winning people over with booze! If you're looking for a game that allows you to bribe your population with titties, booze, and in return you give them longer work hours and trash for housing, this game is for you! 10/10 in my book. It's a must buy as a strategy fan. If you liked This War of Mine, this is a no-brainer.

This game is the type of game I have waited a long time for. Granted it's cartoon style graphics downplay the realism that I like usually, this game is great.

PROS
-Recruit your own crew for your bird
-Pick the names of your crew
-Customize your crew to have multiple roles
-RPG style elements where you want to take care of your crew because they get better at their role the longer they do it
-Customize your bird, cosmetically as well as physically (upgraded engines, turrets, armor, etc)
-Plan your missions in the briefing room so you can decide which target to hit first
-Equip your crew with different styles of clothing and oxygen masks, finding the balance for mobility and armor

CONS
-The ranks of the crew aren't realistic (my crew is all the same rank)
-Lacks voice over or any language for that matter
-Cartoon style animation is not fitting to my taste

I would recommend this game whole heartedly. They have already hit it with some updates since I've purchased it and they've all been welcomed updates with things to make the game even better. But they are improving things I didn't even think to improve. The developer is truly innovative. If you are looking for a fun, difficult, relaxing game this is for you!

For being a free game, this game is awesome. I think sometimes when people write reviews for free games, they forget that the game is free and that there isn't a huge development behind it. This game has a lot of strategy to it on top of being a FPS. I would even lump it in with the tactical FPS. Every person after getting killed can be revived once per round by a teammate, unless secured by the enemy. That adds a layer of tactics in my humble opinion. The maps are very well balanced. If you are looking for a weapon heavy game with a bunch of different classes, then this game is not for you. There isn't much for weaponry and customization, but once again, it's a free game. For being a free game, this is a must play.

This game is something else. I was a kid that used AOL/AIM and it was definitely like texting is now-a-days. I can relate a lot to this game and just playing this game made a lot of fond memories come back. This game is very cool and if you are a kid that was born in the early 90s or late 80s I think you will love this game. This game goes over how relationships and conversations worked in the days of AIM. This game is very simple, but yet kind of complex because the decisions you make throughout can affect how the game plays out. I would recommend this game to anyone!

Great game! This is a game that takes a lot of practice, but when you are able to win a match online you really feel good! It is a fun, hard and complex game that any true RTS fan will surely enjoy!
