Legit it's just me, game works fine now...

Wonder what's causing your crashes? I'd wager it's something on your end. I'm playing on an outdated rig I7-8700K, 16GB of whatever the heck ram i was using almost ten years ago and still rocking this 1070. Chugs a bit, but i have no problem with crashes.
