the combat just feels kinda sluggish -- not a huge fan of it.

short, but very enjoyable

the best of half-life, hands down. unfortunate that valve decided to go episodic -- this, episode one and episode three could've just been half-life 3 and i'm pretty sure everyone would've been happy with that. oh well, maybe one day we'll get the glorious sequel we have all been waiting for!

the campaign is a fantastic, interesting adventure, and definitely worth a play. however, if you want to play gta online, and you're on linux, you're ♥♥♥♥ outta luck, seeing as they just broke support for it entirely. battleye has linux support, too! cmon, guys!

i really wanted to like BONEWORKS -- the guns feels punchy and intricate, the setup is pretty interesting, and it teaches its mechanics quite well. however, almost everything else just isn't that good. the parkour is alright, but the physical body of the character is just annoying. feels like it gets in the way more than anything. plus, level and gameplay design goes from being okay to being ridiculous and irritating. there's some parts that feel nearly impossible (combat or platforming wise). plus, it should just have a normal save system, instead of save stations. melee combat is okay, but nothing very interesting.

overall, BONEWORKS is a cool concept that's pretty flawed in its execution.

ah yes cus the cheaters are definitely on linux!

fun asf game but sony sucks

this game is fantastic for its modding. the base game itself is awful, the AI is annoying and the scenarios feel like lazy asset flips. the gunplay and movement, however, are incredibly solid, and the game itself is a solid foundation for UGC.

this is all a long way of saying that if the 90% accurate call of duty zombies mode didn't exist, i wouldn't have purchased this game LOL

this game really makes you FEEL like David Attenborough

i really tried to like this game, but it's clearly not for me. i love the story, the characters are cool and the world is enticing. i just cannot manage the combat, so i couldn't make it to the end. if you like JRPG's, this game is fire, and it's worth a shot.
