If you like any ARG you come across, you will like this game a lot. Otherwise, it is very generic. It doesn't ease you into the creepiness, it hits you with it immediately and it all feels very surface level. I haven't and have no desire to explore the lore of this game. The unique scares like changing your desktop background, removing your desktop icons, searching your location in windows, or closing the game are more of an annoyance than anything. All in all I can give it points for ambition, but I think it could benefit from a slower burn and more involved writing.

Buddy Sim is an underrated masterpiece of a game. It recognizes itself in such an organic way that I have never seen in any other game. For a (scripted) AI, it was incredibly human... There were so many moments where it knew what I would do as a player, and every moment it set up it executed without flaw. It creates a stage for itself to perform, and it uses all of its tools masterfully. In terms of storytelling I place this up there with some of my favorites; Portal 2, Inscryption, and Everhood to name a few. I recommend this game to everybody. It's a good length, impactful, it has an incredible soundtrack and is truly one of it's kind. A master of it's own craft. Please play this, if not for you, play it for Buddy.
