Much better after Steel Shepherd

This game undeniably launched unfinished, for which the negative reviews it has received are well warranted. Since then, however, Relic has made a large number of quality of life changes that have brought the game into a pretty good state.

This is still Company of Heroes, with all its tactical and strategic glory. The game looks beautiful now, the factions are unique, and the battlegroups are the most interesting iteration of that system yet. Most importantly, it's a ton of fun. While there are still some 'wonky' elements to the game, I can wholeheartedly give this two big thumbs up.

If you want to experience WW2 strategy with deep focus on tactics, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of this game.
