Very relaxing. Like living in a sci-fi novel. You actually feel like an AI helping a person survive and explore. Excellent. Great soundtrack too.

I love the unique take on xcom, the vibrant colours, the unique music and the banter between the characters. The combat is faster paced and closer to a puzzle shooter than a strategy shooter, but still enough of a challenge that it has that classic xcom feel. Torque all the way!

Half Life 2 is my favourite game - this, its predecessor, is simply class. Replaying it now it's lost none of its charm, uniqueness or verve. Even with the older graphics, it's immersive, jumpy and very compelling.
