This is a fantastic sequel to an already top notch roguelike.
I can't wait for achievements!

It's a thing of beauty and far exceeds expectations.

The Mandala government has been my first lifetime/play-test, starting as a Papua tribal.
The domain limit is an interesting aspect, but i found the functionality of it to be a bit jarring, raiding as a Papua tribal isn't so feasible when every other province surrounding offers 1 gold, you just have to hope for hostages or a weakened raja state that has yet to have been raided for some early income.

i was unable to declare war on tributaries bordering my tributaries and was resigned to sway/embracing my soon to be empires borders, and could no longer declare subjugate wars on the more distant territories, i don't know if this is intentional or not, but the mandala event flavour and temple construction mechanic to stack piety and legitimacy is a very fun feature.

I have not experienced much issues with performance even with multiplayer apart from two initial desynchs when starting the lobby, which was easily abated by the re-synchronize button.

overall enjoying the new aesthetic and government types for its unique flavour, and will be trying my hand at a little korean meritocracy next.
