This game is hard af, and lots of time I spent replaying sections of a level many times because it was so hard it almost like a puzzle. Your character moves very slow compared to Doom/Quake and you have to use the environment to maximize your damage.

I summoned a sunbro to help me against a boss. Died because of stupid mistake.
I summoned him again, prostated before him for the shameful display.
He waved at me, he probably didn't mind, still want to help me.
Died again when boss health only had 1%.
I felt so ashamed didn't summon him again.

A first time in a game when I felt shame. 99/10.

A good RPG with amazing world and characters but sadly the combat mechanics not to my liking which is my main gripe about this game. If you want to play this in preparation before The Witcher 2, I suggest choosing the Easy difficulty because at Normal, you will be forced to used Potions to survive initial battles and boss battles. Also the old advice "save alot in multiple save files and often" is a must because I got the badluck having my only save got corrupted and forced to repeat all over again. In spite of all that, I still recommend this game to all RPG lovers.

A good Batman simulator. If you want to become Batman, play this first. Learn how to punch and kick in combos. Learn how to silently takedown enemies and hang upside down like a proper Batman. Learn how to aim and throw Batarangs. Punch Joker.
