Very solid game, came back to it for 100% and the randomiser mode. Can't wait for Chapter 2's release.

Fun, surprisingly deep gameplay.

Nostalgia, finally on PC.

TL;DR
♥♥♥♥ Take-Two, ♥♥♥♥ their CEO Strauss Zelnick and his "undermonetization". ♥♥♥♥ their profits, and ♥♥♥♥ them for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the modding community. Note, not the hacking community which they've done nothing to, the modding community.



I've paid for this game twice over, having bought it for the original 360 release and then again when it came to PC, preordering the PC version in fact. I adore this game's singleplayer, and had hours upon hours of fun in the multiplayer.

And then Online started to go down the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. As of the last Online update, Rockstar (and Take Two who are the real culprits here pushing for more profits, the ♥♥♥♥♥) is actively ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over legitimate players and claiming to be helping them.

You recieved modded money because a hacker came in your lobby? Well, there goes all of your money. Wanna grind out the painfully boring CEO and bikie missions so you can buy the new bunkers? Lol, we just gave every griefer and hacker the ability to buy a SEMIAUTO RAILGUN. Oh, I'll just use solo sess- NO YOU WON'T YOU HAVE TO DO THIS IS PUBLIC LOBBIES BUY OUR SHARK CARDS INSTEAD.

I WANT to enjoy Online, but there's no point anymore. All the new content is expensive and just pushing Shark Card purchases, griefers have more ways to ♥♥♥♥ you up than ever, let alone hackers, and some of the new content is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid and doesn't fit in a GTA game! Looking at you jetbike.

And then, after ALL OF THIS, Rockstar/Take2 have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GALL to take away the last bastion of fun. Modding.

Modding is one of the cornerstones of PC gaming, and allows a dedicated, passionate community to keep a game going long after it's no longer supported, as well as, well, mod! And it's not just PC gamers now, with recent Bethesda games console players are starting to like the idea as well.

Of course... that would draw people away from the Online. It would hurt Take2's profits. So they've given OpenIV, the tool that is the backbone of Singleplayer modding, a Cease and Desist. Note, this does NOTHING to affect hackers, they don't use OpenIV, they have other methods. The devs know this.

I hardly have to say anything else, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disgusting nature of this new development speaks for itself.

Honestly the best shooter I've played in years. I would recommend this game to anyone in a heartbeat! 10/10
