Even tho it doesn't exactly stick to the lore in every sense, this game shouldn't disappoint fans of the genre.

The story is only secondary anyway. The most important part is the very interesting nemesis system that makes those mini-bosses who beat you once even stronger the next time you face them.

Mix that up with a rank system and the option to recruit...or should I say enslave orcs to your liking and you get a nice open world adventure about a vengeful man and his way to become a commander of the orcs, AGAINST the orcs.

7/10. Sadly not that much potential for playing again after once finished. Still a solid game.

How do I like Dishonored 2?

Tha's a really good question. I was looking forward to this game a darn long time.

Let's talk about how I liked Dishonored 1 first.
Looking at my in-game hours I obviously adore the game. It has all what a good singleplayer needs to offer in my eyes. You have varying missions, a wide range of skills and equipment and consequences to decisions and actions you make/take.
I admit, I am and have long been a fanboy of the game. Even more so I awaited a sequel in agony. It just took. Way. Too. Long.

Then it finally was announced. I was excited. Then it came. And so did I.
I insta-preordered the game and...at this point you can probably imagine what's ahead...
Exactly. Optimization. The game was literally unplayable for many of us. I was among those people. And it tilted me.

It tilted me for about 2 weeks, until the releasing patch finally came.
And it worked. I can play the game on max settings with constant high FPS.
What bothers me about all of this:
The delay.
Yes, I get to play the game and get the full experience now, but damn, the feeling would've been so much better without the wait and the disappointment.
I'm an open lover of everything Bethesda (except for Elder Scrolls Online, f*** Elder Scrolls Online) and this was a let-down, that hurt my trust in them deeply. That being said, I never doubted the coming of a full and reliable fix to the issues. Still, the damage was done.

How is the game? I'm still stuck in the first mission after a few hours and I enjoy every bit of it.
The game is much harder than the first one, even on normal difficulty. Enemies spot you faster and more directly and fights are not solvable by just spamming that mouse button anymore.
The story looks steady and strong, as expected of the franchise. The gameplay I personally wouldn't think of complaining about and to me the performance is pretty much perfect (only now, 2 weeks too late).
I already am in love with the Dishonored series once again and am thankful for a continuing of this brilliant game. Thank you for that, Arkane and Bethesda and notably, Ricardo Bare. Your work is precise and wonderful.

To the performance issues from earlier:
I don't know how the recent patches worked for others, but they definetly fixed all the problems I had with the game. I don't have a super PC and it runs smooth on Ultra settings.

Can I recommend the game in it's current state? Yes.
Can I recommend pre-ordering a game of Bethesda and/or Arkane Studios in the future. Yes, but hear me out! Yes, they made mistakes and published a broken game, but they fixed it in only 2 patches and while these performance issues are a problem, they don't completely erase the qualities of the game.

Overall a great, no, an amazing game with everything a true gamer could hope for, unfortunately with a bitter taste at the beginning. A must buy nontheless.

9.5/10 would buy again.

Crap game.

There isn't much more to say to the developement of this waste of time.

Once a rather fun and good game, it quicky became unstable in performance and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in gameplay.

I regret ever paying any money for this piece of trash.

Can't recommend to ever buy this game.

Depressing. Sad. True.

If I had to describe this game in 3 words, those would be them.

With a small group of individual characters you have to survive in the wort possible scenario: War.
Raid houses, fight other aggressive groups and trade for food.

It's up to you to go full berserk on other survivors and risk your own people's mentality or to be peaceful and generous towards other victims of this devastating scenario.

For me personally it was a pleasure to get to know this game. It's a struggle to have something on the plate everyday and you'll have to work hard for every ressource. And I loved it.
I loved the dark, depressing atmosphere and I enjoyed the constant danger everywhere.

Can I recommend this game?
Yes. If you like a challenge and enjoy decision-filled situations all the time this is a must-have.

Let's take a honest look at PAYDAY 2.

A game by OVERKILL. Oh no, wait, we forgot something.

It's OVERKILL - a Starbreeze Studio. Now it's right.

Oh, you want to know why I had to add that? Because the first and most important information is:
OVERKILL is NOT independent.
They are owned by Starbreeze and they lie to their community about it. Later more.

Over a year ago I played this game daily, with my friends together. We became very good in short time and started to buy the DLCs, that had come out the months before.
Then another one came out. And another. And another. And another.

One by one quit the game, since it got repetetive and boring for the lack of different content, content that was added later, but for sure not without pulling at your wallet.
I still stuck to it then. Played with some of the random people out there. Of course, it's a huge pain in the a** getting kicked all the time for not speaking a specific language or for not having the perfect level (aka not too high or low...).

After a while and what felt like 30 5€ DLCs I gave it up. I stopped playing the game and buying the ♥♥♥♥ that OVERKILL tries to sell me.
The latest announcement finally brought up the courage to partly answer some very old questions.
Q: Why so many DLCs??
A: We need your support.
Q: Will there be free content?
A: Not if we can't afford it. (Shh, they never can)
Q: Are you even listening to our feedback?!
A: Ofc, but as independent(cough cough) developers we can't do everything. (Especially not for free;)

But also the latest announcement tried to sell you as a fact, that OVERKILL - a Starbreeze Studio isn't even a Starbreeze Studio.
Instead they used their non-existent independence-nonsense to justify their greed for cash once again.

Yes, Almir, we heard you, you need time to sort out the anti-cheat and you need our support to solve our feedback problems.
Well, after all that time and the main game's skydiving numbers of sale, wouldn't you finally be man enough to clearly admit, that you have enough of both to solve all of these issues for quite some time already? I know you're cowards, but Jesus Christ...

My recommendation:
Tell your friends, your family, tell your own holy kids not to ever purchase this game or any of it's DLCs again. It's cyber-robbing without shame and they lie about their reasonings.
Remember the independence? It's not there. Starbreeze owns their asses and got their back ALL the time.

So quit this pathetic behaviour and have the decency to give either a real statement for your oh-so-beloved community or stop selling overly priced packets of emptyness every month. Thanks a lot.

Do NOT buy this game. Do NOT by it's DLCs. It's not/will never be worth it.

By the way: Since I know how you work and ignore/hide critic, I want to note here my Level 100 and 170+ hours. Incase something...gets "lost".

L4D2, the second part of a long and bloody story full of undead nightmare and gore.
Discover the gameplay of L4D, but do it right this time! With a chainsaw for example?

Great game, one of my personal favourites. Took me a while to get used to it after L4D but then I discovered the Versus part of the game for myself.
Since then I enjoy it really really bad.

On the other side, the game is badly one mode based.
The cooporative mode for example probably won't ever get the attention it really deserves. So the ranklists of course get dominated by Versus gameservers.

Anyway, after all a Must-Have in any professional game collection and a game you shouldn't miss out!
