Sons of the Forest is not as polished as the first game yet.
The Caves don't have as much to find and the story somehow feels more barebones than the first game.
However it is in early access and is still very fun in its current state.
The new building system is a lot of fun but a bit buggy and the mutants are still extremely fun to fight and mess with.
In my opinion the game is worth the $30 price tag currently, and is a great base for Endnight to expand on in future updates.
