This game probably comes closest to the reasons I love Metroid: Zero Mission - it's a super solid Metroidvania, and it allows if not encourages sequence breaking. It controls super well too, which is something that I didn't feel about the big Metroidvania of the time "Axiom Verge". Definitely pick this game up if you love the genre.
