This is a nice little game. There's some bugs, but they're usually fixed by reloading the last checkpoint.

Was quite shocked that this game could look so modern yet retain such classic jank. Really good, really fun.

In a genre that can't keep up with itself REPO stands out with its physics, QOL features, and attention to details.

It's good, definitely overhyped but good.

Recommending for the gameplay and fan service alone. The story is, at best, okay. At worst it feels poorly written. That said, the gameplay has evolved from the previous Like A Dragon game significantly and in a great direction.

As a long time fan of this game I have to give this a negative review. This game has become renowned for its story. That same story has become the weakest link of the new expansion. Characters that are near and dear to me are just shoved to the side and forgotten for a new character that has 0 charm or charisma. The story is also filled with enormous, gaping plot holes that are nigh impossible to justify beyond the fact that "the plot has to move forward." The devs have done better in the past, they've shown they are of a higher caliber. I hold them to a greater standard, one they set themselves. Every hero has to have a stumble in their journey, and I hope that's all this was, rather than a fall.

I've heard about this game all my life and only just now sat down and played it. Really good! I'd say it lives up to about 90% of the hype people give it. Except that Lost Sanctum section, that was literally one of the worst side quests (if not THE worst) I've ever played in a JRPG.

So far I'm having a blast

Everyone memes about the mini-games and substories, and yeah they're hilarious. But what's rarely spoken about is the really good story, it's gripping and full of exquisite drama. All that goofy stuff serves as great comedic relief from the dark main story.

The critics are right it IS pokemon, but what they fail to mention is that it's pokemon BUT good.
