A chill skill challenge with simple strategy mixed in. If you've played American Truck Simulator, it's really just like that but in space. A little more streamlined and modern, though. I recommend it if you're cooling for a chill controller game.

BONUS: you can add live real world radio streams to the in-game radio in your truck. Added effects make it sound like your local college radio station is coming through the truck sound system.

A highly complex galactic empire simulation that allows you to fiddle with every minute detail, or sit back with a bowl and watch your ant farm - nudging them in different directions. For hardcore space grognards, not really for public consumption, an that's what's wonderful about it!

A classical 4x strategy that respects the player's intellect. The depth of a paradox game, with the old school grognard gameplay of the 90s. Infinitely replayable, excellent AI adversaries and allies, and a unique recruitng and supply system.

Highly recommended to those with memories of 500 page player manuals, and those who wish to make new memories of deep and intelligent strategy wargaming.

A geopolitical strategy game centered around the events of humanity's first contact with aliens, and the space race that follows. By default, you start on earth in 2026 as the commander of one of eight secret society world powers. You move your agents behind the scenes, taking control of institutions like mass media and state legislatures. Use the power you amass to achieve whatever you goals may be. Eradicate the aliens, bootlick them and become their human enforcers, befriend them as equals, and so on. No two games will ever play out the same.

This game is not for anyone who needs quick resolutions to their games. One campaign will last you month in real time depending on how long you can game.

This is a game you will have to study and learn, and is for gamers who enjoy the journey more than the destination. If you're looking for something to occupy your free time for months to come, this is something made for you.

It's a city-builder mixed with Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress, Total War and Civilization. A very interesting and deep game in it's own right. Expect to spend weeks learning and exploring the mechanics.
