You see, the problem with boomers trying to understand the meme is the fact the there is nothing to understand. Fundamentally memes are built on a base of an utter void, nothingness. For decades people have been making memes as an oh haha funny thing, and that is something that boomers can not seem to comprehend. There is absolutely nothing to them, no hidden meaning, no symbolism; what you see is what you get. So as time went on, this increasingly complex formulae of nothingness built on top of another manifesto of nothingness in an attempt to confuse, bewilder, and hilariously tear down the fabric of a society built on read between the lines, has ultimately led to nothing. The ancient boomer way of thinking, that everything is built on hard work and understanding is not in the slightest of manners ever going to slide into the dms of memes.

Im looking for people to sign a petition for me, if you would hear me out, in Nigeria last year over 200,000 squirrels were kidnapped and forced into combat roles as squirrel soldiers, our petition will hopefully force their captors to realize the error in their ways and to eventually let the squirrel soldiers go without the need for a war. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand mass shootings. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of bullet trajectories most of the rounds will go over a typical victim's head.
