The game itself? Extremely good, been enjoying it off and on for years! With Bethesda's updates? A dumpster that periodically bursts into flames. Given that their games' have some of, if not THE, most prolific modding communities in video game history, you'd think that Bethesda would try to make sure that their EXCEEDINGLY RARE updates won't break absolutely everyone's mods and ruining all of their old saves.

Like most of Bethesda's recent work, the latest update is a blatant attempt at a cash grab and an insult to their fans as a whole.

A truly incredible game, especially for when times are hard. Easily one of the most relaxing, yet somber, titles to grace this platform

Mechanically, the game has lots of little issues. Clunky combat that takes a while to really figure out, frustrating puzzles, odd controls, and small glitches all over the place.

I haven't played a Star Wars game that truly FELT like Star Wars since the original Knights of the Old Republic. Despite all the gameplay issues and occasional odd writing choice, you feel the genuine deep love that the devs had for star wars. Classic sfx, classic aesthetic, classic feel, everything about this game is a love letter to old star wars!

But it also captures the feeling of more modern star wars. Cleaner aesthetic, respect for modern developments in the franchise, and the introduction of several new things into the canon! Things that I believe have some serious serious potential!
the game treads new ground while recognizing where the franchise began and what it was truly about way back then. It's everything that star wars should be.

Fantastic game! If you have a love for steampunk aesthetics, strategy games, and making both ships and empires then this game is definitely for you! The ship design mechanic allows the players creativity to flow and lets you design said vessels for whatever purpose you deem it to. I will say though, even on easy mode, the game may decide to kick your teeth in with a sudden spike in difficulty. Save often and always have a back up save!
