I subscribed to a 12-month Rocksmith+ plan back in Oct2023 in which they gave you a free 7 day trial period. As I was checking out, I screenshotted a note in my cart that caught my eye: "Rocksmith 2014 owner(sp) can enjoy 1 month free in their first billing cycle when subscribing to a 3-month plan or 3 months free in their first billing cycle with a 12-month plan. If you own it, you need to subscribe to Rocksmith+ with your Ubisoft account linked to the Rocksmith 2014 game."
Being a long time Rocksmith 2014 player (I have 2300+ hrs at this point) I was stoked. "This subscription service really sucks," I said to myself, "but at least Ubisoft values me enough as a customer to reward my loyalty."
Turns out they don't. After not seeing the free time populate in my account information, I contacted Ubisoft Support. They flatly told me that the promotion was over and sent me on my way. The fact that it was in black and white and screenshotted in my checkout cart meant nothing to them.
This product isn't made by people who respect you as a customer or as a guitar player. They abandoned a viable product (RS2014) to chase subscription fees. Don't give Ubisoft any of your valuable time or money.
