Hi, we like Invincible.

If you're on the fence, just buy it. You don't have to wait for a sale. This is it, this is not just Telltale coming back, I dare to say this might even be better.

The writing is on point, the actor choices are 🧑‍🍳😘🤌. I would applaud the Critical Role people, but this is just a reminder that this is actually what they do, and they are in full swing. I also can't help but think that the "Superhero Fatigue" thing is not actually real, people are just tired of big budget medicore films. Cause this, hot damn, is firing on all cylinders.

It runs and looks phenomenal on the steam deck. Probably one of the best usages of cell shading going toe to toe with Hi-fi Rush where it feels like a live animation.

The gameplay is light, but more than just QTE clicks, Some of the mini games have enough heft to immediately want to replay and retry, but the story has such incredible momentum that it's easy to roll with the misses and feel confident that you can come back to specific story points later. I didn't feel the desire to start second guessing or save scum, flops feel compelling to the experience.

I'm about 4 episodes in and just loving this game, and have full intentions to just savor this bad boy. It's a gem and an incredible way to close out 2025.

Okay, wow. I went into this mostly blind, not knowing what it was really about or the style of game. And this was... this was a game. This also feels distinctly an Indie game as well. I know most people consider like small game studios with 30ish people independent, but this is more of what comes to mind.

I would essentially call this a feature length film that you can play. I really liked the nod to The Shining, it was pretty clear that they wanted you to know what type of story they were about to tell. If that movie isn't your jam, then this game is straight up not for you.

Using the medium of gaming to tell a very character driven story, because most of the time you're asking, "What the hell is going on, what happened?" and then having this HUGE character moment that tell you practically everything about this person happens right under your nose. I thought it was very clever and extremely cohesive for such a chaotic piece of art. Really well done 👏

This is a vibes only type of game. Music is fantastic, Art direction is solid. This is a very pleasing game to look at and visually take in.

Lots of comments about the length are pretty in tune, however I enjoyed it. In regards to the lore, there is clearly a schema and a world here. I don't need walls of text to button press through hitting me over the head with a 2x4. It's just a little too obtuse to make a emotional connection to it.

So when it comes to price, I don't mind paying a little more than normal to support indie devs trying to make it. I personally enjoy having a connection to the developer if they are on social media gathering support. I didn't get much response back but that's fine.

I'm giving a thumbs up because the question is, do games like this deserve to be made? Was there thought, heart, and intention in it's delivery and story. I believe the answer is yes.

This is a short and sweet compact visual novel with a single puzzle element to it set in the Tron Universe. It's an original story that fleshes out the world into a few ways we haven't seen and I really liked it. This is my second type of game like this, Citizen Sleeper being the first. It's not nearly as comprehensive as CS, but the writing and decisions with weight are there. This is a game for kids who grew up on Choose Your Own Adventure books didn't know they needed.

The most common complaint is that it's too short, most likely is because for those of us who are fans of Tron, we'd always love to see more. Especially stories of substance. The music feels like it belongs in this world without being a discount daft punk. The art direction is amazing to absorb. The actual story here is crisp and concise, there's not a lot of fluff, which leads to the short run-time. And by short, I completed two and a half runs in just under 5 hours. I think if it was lacking anything it would be a bit more meat on the resolution, so that the inciting incident that kicks off the game is a bit easier to wrap my head around.

If you are an existing fan, your going to love this take. I really hope they have plans for expansions soon, because they've setup plenty to fill out more stories here.

Death stranding is a half cinematic storytelling and half casual gaming. If you've played any of the Metal Gear series, you'll know that Kojima rarely tells a straight forward story. Wrapped up in allegory, internal references and sweeping story plots, with a sprinkle of cheese in there. It can feel a little lopsided, as there's a lot of wind up in the beginning introducing you to the world, a steady serving of exposition as you get into the core gameplay, then an ending that's almost about 90 minutes.

The game is best played at a relaxing pace, rather than hurried to get to the story points. I enjoyed it much more that way, as this was my second start after putting around 20+ hours on a PS4. While this game is definitely not everyone's jam, this was a very redeemable play after being let down with the wrap up on MSG5.

Citizen Sleeper is an amazing achievement for immersive storytelling. I was sucked into the story, and I just HAD to know how this was all going to play out.

I'm personally not one for visual novels. I've tried a few, and they are just not my jam. This game however had very challenging and though provoking writing that really puts the player/reader into actual mindset of role-playing as your character. When it says inspired by TTRPGs, it's the style of writing that really evokes that feeling, rather than completely open-ended choices. Your choices really reflect the order of events and nuance, with a handful branching story chains that you can explore. I don't see this as a bad thing, I see this as a thematic choice by the creator to have the player explore the concepts of identity, community, classism, and determinism. I would say this is where the marketing for this game does a disservice-- the writer's beliefs are transparent, not heavy handed to strong arm you into a specific cliche anti-capitalism conclusion.

The actual game-play is comprised of dice rolling and resource placement/accumulation, which will be very familiar to any modern board game player. It felt like a very intentional connection to the emotional themes the creator wanted to you to notice. You are feeling that your outcomes are completely random, up to luck and fate, but as you progress you start to forget how difficult it was to begin. You take for granted the progress you've made and it feels easily mastered by the end of the game-- the time in which your character has to choose to stay in comfort or explore the unknown.

Overall, I was very surprised by how much I was drawn in and enjoyed such a curated experience.

This is a game that will test your patience. It's a very challenging one hit kill that easily can turn away players that get frustrated. That being said, when you do complete a level or find that smooth groove to kill enemies in one run it is completely satisfying. Far from perfect, the non-combat action, platforming is a little clunky, but overall, this is the game I wanted when I knew there was going to be a Metal Gear Solid FPS.

I am so fascinated by this game, but not just to play it, but what is underneath and behind. How did this game come to be? It is so simple, yet the deep is the well. Drink full and descend.

I don't know what more I could add that I am sure other people have already said. I've just barely breached the surface and really looking forward to diving into what this game means and playing it so much more.

I cant. I CAN'T DO IT.

I cannot in good conscious recommend this game. I want to, I really do but this doesn't feel like a game, it feels like a concept.

The visual and the story are engaging, however the story being told is of no one specific person. It's very generic and bland. It says not much about humanity, other than what a cookie cutter life should be. The visual metaphors are nice, but rarely succumb to being more than the sum of its parts.

The visuals can also impact the gameplay, as without a set track, or visual indicators of being on rails, often times the glyphs you have to pickup can blend into the stars and swooping graphical chatter that makes it confusing. Especially when the colors are so close to the elements your picking up, that's a problem.

The controls... *sigh* the controls, I used a Switch pro controller, however I have also read of many other struggling with a 360 controller. It's like QA'd was very brief for this game, because it's very difficult to pick up elements on the right and top right side of the screen. This happens throughout the whole experience

For being a music game, the actual beats are the vanilla flavored white toasted wonder bread of chill house, maybe occasionally rising above a standard 4/4 hi hat rhythm in the last level. It didn't do anything to make me feel like an alien race discovering a new species of humanity, or exploring the inner workings of the human psyche. It did minimal compliments to the story unfolding.

I've had this game on my wishlist for quite some time, and I'm really let down because Runner was so intriguing and groundbreaking. When this game is firing on all cylinders, it works well, but ultimately, this brief experiment feels rather incomplete.

I bought this game on launch day, and what I really enjoy is that you can drop in and drop out after a few rounds and feel like you got your fill. This is a rouge style loot game FPS, in a similar drawn style of Boarderlands. Traditionally, rouge style games can be extremely frustrating. This feels more like its a combo of luck and skill-- some if it which being knowing when to safely retreat.

I really enjoy the humor, which feels along the same lines of brit wit: ala Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or (currently watching) Good Omens, so I'm probably cross pollinating them in my mind.

Overall the curb to learn is fairly simple, and the crafting element is easy to wrap my head around. I haven't spent too much dedicated time on this game, since there are several repetitive elements. I've been using this as a break between current games and that way of playing has served me really well. I look forward to pacing this game out and enjoying it as casual dive.
