I am a huge Wing Commander fan back from the original through Prophecy. This game definitely recaptures the spirit of WC and everything it was about. The space combat feels good, and the addition of strafing is really fun. I played on my Deck and VR and both worked really well. I prefer VR now because being in the cockpit is awesome, as is being able to manipulate your power levels without going into a menu.

Overall, if you liked WC and want to recapture some of that this is a solid purchase!
