ARC Raiders is a strong, polished entry in the extraction-shooter genre. Great atmosphere with fun PvPvE action.

Content depth / long-term engagement is a concern and loot-and-craft systems feels underwhelming.

Nice game with some bugs and downfalls. Game loop gets pretty repeatative: loot, capture, kill boss, build base. Would be great to have more elite monsters in each zone and public events. Resource to reset specialization is pretty rear that makes respec pretty hard.

Now about game currency Links. I didn't get smelting specialization nor acid spec, rng gods were not on my side, so I'm not able to smelter silver/gold and could not sell them for links. I'm level 42, 78+ Battle pass. So I need to ask someone to smelter gold for me, this is dumb af. I tried selling copper ingots but could barely afford teleporting on that money. Due to the specialization resource been dropped on a time basis this just become stupid to wait another round to get 1 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ resource to reset just ONE of many nodes, lol. I got to the point where I could not afford to craft an armor piece (just one, not the whole set). So I decided to do side missions to earn some links. Since teleporting is a "punishing" (cost links) mechanic, it was decided to travel on a 4 wheeler. Don't even get me started on driving in this game. In short it is slow and painful. Finally I got to the side mission and it sends me to other 3 places about 1-3km apart from each other, and award was miserable. Wasted +2hrs to earn ~1k links doing side missions.

Truly wanted to love this game, but unfortunately it is just not there...
