It needs more polishing IMO. Most games in this genre will keep you oxygenated/powered when near your base. Its nice because then you can focus on organizing, crafting and progressing. This game however even when in the starting pod you drain power, meaning you have to disconnect a machines power to charge yourself up. ( I could only play for nearly an hour before the jank of the game got to me, so maybe later in the game you unlock a remote charge??).
I died twice from low power because of the precise angles you have to move your cam to get the plug connected, if not you access the machine. Its the same button to interact with machine as it is to connect to the plug so half the time you try to craft but instead disconnect the machines power.
The movement feels clunky if you jump then land your character pauses for a sec then moves again.
There are storage shelves to use instead of a minecraft chest type, so combined with the jank cam angles to play it makes inventory management a nightmare.
I hope it get some QoL updates to make it easier to play as I love terraform/regrowth type games

I really love playing the mod MineColonies in Minecraft, this game feels similar to that mod but its own game and has expanded on the concept.Though I can't play more than 15 minutes of it since the UI feels like a 2001 idle flash game. The text is very small and in inconvenient places, the building is a big learning experience and a bit tedious (if you right click to cancel a blueprint it also pickups the thing under the blueprint so placing a furnace on a wooden floor is a bit annoying if you misplace, though this games building is very lax it reminds me of character creation in Spore with arrows to move laterally and vertically as well as curved arrows to slant thing.
There is little quality of life features in the game, half the time I spent crafting I was clicking to drag things to and from the crafting space, forgot the resources so you exit the interface then press R to see recipes scroll down the checklist style recipes book to see the one you need. Once you craft something and exit the interface the items stay in the crafting space (normally thats a nice feature) but if you go to a different crafting station (I.E a furnace to a sawmill) the same items persist so you end up having to remove ore/charcoal from the sawmill's crafting space.
I hope the dev continues to polish this game cause this genre of colony sim but you play as one of the villagers/mayor but also can be a survival experience has been a long term desire of mine

Constant interruption of unnecessary animations and cutscenes. You want to progress well stand on a button and then watch a 5 second cutscene of the same 3 blocks appear for you to jump on, once you get to the next area you have to watch and animation of enemies spawn in, a emoji crying or other random things.

Combat is annoying as theres enemies that require you to use a magnet ability to knock their shield off, yet that same magnet ability you use to stack on top of your friends/ai-teammates, so when you try to knock a shield you instead are prioritized to your teammates head.

The AI is uncontrollable, you try to get it to go to pings and they go the opposite direction, you try to ge them to stack on your head they stand still, you go up an elevator and they dont tp/follow.

Pretty sad as this game looked like itd be a fun couch game to play with friends

Its honestly pretty fun, haven't tested multiplayer so not sure how stable. Though I do have a gripe against a 10$ battle pass in a game that isn't even fully out yet. I'd have been more than happy to pay 10$ to buy the game, but the current game space of every game needing some sort of battlepass is quite repetitive. Miss the times when games like Halo: reach you unlocked the coolest armor pieces by you know being good at the game not who has the most money :/

EDIT:
Very nice Devs! The battlepass isnt exclusive to time frame, they will be permanent unlocks you can complete even after a new pass comes out. Its definetly a new take on how BP work with content, almost like a supporter pack to help the development and costs but you have to play the game to get the cosmetics. Either way if you have the money support the game by buying the passes, I hope the Dev team continues to work on this and create a quality game for a massive friends group (10 players max!!!)

Played as monk, got blood orb punching gauntlets and 4 buffs of lifesteal, became immortal and instantly cleared rooms of 20+ monsters. Went into a sub zone instantly fell off and died. 10/10 game with unique art style

Pretty challenging when learning during the first couple runs, once you get a grasp its an amazing game. It does have a bit of a steamroll vibe where you get into year 3-4 and your basic buildings and upgrades are setup. Get 10+ army of vikings and chief and you kinda can bulldoze in combat and if you dont try for combat the AI can be somewhat slow for other victories like fame, lore and trade.

Was very fun and had some good scares, but mainly just laughs as the AI pathing is very meh. Be warned if you fail with a friend you have to go through the whole process of making a lobby, inviting and then a long load time of about 2 minutes to get into game (could be connection between me and friend, or could be long processing)
