10/10 would reccommend even on full price

still the best sims game, even almost 10 years later! i've had the sims since about 2011 (on a physical copy), and i still find myself coming back to it every now and then. probably the easiest to get into simulation game, great customization and progression, and there's plenty of content to keep your interest! not to mention user made challenges and content as well! it's a very solid pick for anyone's library, especially when it's on sale.

and to the folks still complaining about DLC: you really don't need every single bit of dlc for it to be an enjoyable game! the bundle with pets, seasons, and generations is plenty for a solid game, plus any others that catch your eye- and if that's still too much money for you, look into mods! there's a heavily thriving modding community, it's super easy to get into, and there's TONS of high quality mods out there.

Pretty good for casual writers like myself! Easy to pick up on, nice layout, and it has a few features I consider pretty handy or just nice to have (the notes/chapter system, built in synonyms, easy word count in the bottom right, themes, and more). I can't compare it to other writing programs, or tell you how it is if you're trying to write something like a novel, but I'd definitely reccommend it if you're sick of writing your fanfictions, short original stories, etc in WordPad and want to take the leap into writing more frequently.
