Delightfully quirky but approachable lifesim/adventure game. The writing screams personality and the game length feels just about right for the amount of mechanics and systems. Pick the game up if you want to play something that feels like it came from a simpler, more optimistic time.

This is probably one of my favorite games of all time. This story may very well leave you sobbing at the end and the gameplay actually works harmoniously with the story and themes the developers are trying to present. Please buy and support this game as I need to see more works like this exist in the world.

Top-down shooter rogue-lite with the reloading system from Gears of War. Less
arcadey and more tactical feeling than games like Nuclear Throne or Binding of
Isaac. Sound design of the guns is top notch and the combination of the
overheating system, active reloading, and potential for gun jamming leads to
many incredibly hectic moments where good awareness and calm are rewarded. Main
issues are the technical performance of the game and the poorly designed
difficulty curve.

A short but delightful game about love and life. Very much in the wheelhouse of other Annapurna published games, this doesn't have very much in the way of traditional games but it crafts its mechanics with purpose. Every touch you do in this game is in service of what it's trying to tell you and I think it is one of the best experiences I have ever had in utilizing the elements of storytelling unique to the video game genre in service of the story it is trying to tell you. Definitely pick it up if you are at all interested in more "Artsy" games. I finished it in under an hour but I loved every minute of it and it also doesn't cost all that much, especially on sale. Also some pretty cello/piano tunes in here that do fit the tone quite well.

A 10-12 hour open-world detective game. The game is absolutely dripping in citypop/vaporwave aesthetics both in music and visuals. The setting is this really cool mix of supernatural, cosmic sci-fi grounded in a tropical island. The actual investigation aspects of the game are right in between Ace Attorney and Obra Dinn. It holds your hand a lot more than The Return of the Obra Dinn but you do have to use your own reasoning to figure out what might need more investigating. It might disappoint you if you're looking for a hard-core detective game like Obra Dinn but if you want something a bit more accessible and is a joy to watch and listen to, I highly recommend.

One of the best action games I've ever played. On the short side but you'll definitely enjoy every minute of it.
