Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty is an expansion pack for the original Commandos game. Containing 8 missions with significantly diversified and improved environments it offers a lot of the same good ol commandos in improved package.

Pros

• Challenging missions.
  
• Many new commandos skills and mechanics.
  
• Streamlined hotkey system.
  
• Beautifully rendered environments.

Cons

• The ability to capture enemy troops and use them as a distraction trivializes some missions.
  
• The driver is still useless.

Overall a great 9.0/10 experience as per original game.

Meticulously crafted classic that does not age, 9.0/10, highest recommendation possible. Finally beating it after all these years felt great!

Enjoyable aspects:

• Amazing animations and art style that still look great 19 years after the game release.
  
• Diverse cast of characters with distinct personalities and their own abilities.
  
• Challenging difficulty.
  
• Every mission offers a variety of approaches, just check YouTube videos after beating them on your own.

Some negative aspects:

• At times some commandos are nearly useless in the missions they are provided in (looking at you Driver!).
  
• Hotkeys take awhile to learn and are not intuitive.
