So, this is my first do not recommend but please read. Ilove the time I put into this game. its beautiful and you really feel like they made a brand new full world thats alive, and also trying to kill you. within on game, this lasts about 8-10 hours. after that, for some reason, the game startsto drop more and more in fps and startscausing more and more crashes. i even deleted the cache fileyour're supposed to, and it only help for a tiny bit. this is something that is widely known and it even sounds like a fix is on its way, but right now i cannot recommend this game. i you think the lag is fine and you candeal (it wont matter how high end your pc is) then buyit. its great when not laggy and crashing. If the dev somehow sees this, please fix this. optimization is everything with a game like this

The game is now more optimised and capable of running well enough. still not great, but its playable.

So, if you're here with a group of friends and not looking to level, then go ahead, its an absolute blast. If you're here with the same group of friends and want to level or play with some random people in it, goo luck. The only problem ive had so far with it (besides only 3 killers which will change) is the fact that you cant join friends in a public match at all. they even made it where lobby jumping until you find it will make your rank go down(which is nice for a full public match, but whatever). Once there is a way to join friends with a public game, I'll be happy enough that i could hang four people on hooks and give them to the almighty cthulhu. N9w, about the game as a whole if you just set up a match with four other friends and dont really care about leveling. The game is really fun at all angles. captures horror and meshes it with multiplayer flawlessly. No integrated voice chat, but who uses that anyways? The balance is great with a full five player match. any less though and it is more leaning towards the killer. Pick it up if you can, totally worth the $20, and sounds like joining friends in public matches is in the works as well as more killers.

I really like this game. Very fun with friends, and fun solo. Only one problem (which doesnt warrant the lack of a recommend) is the DLC. There is too much, and if you just buy the base game, it's boring. Still, good game if you can afford the GOTY edition
