good game

art and menus pretty, as expected of atlus
gameplay kinda par for the course for a jrpg, borrows a lot from the smt/persona system (even keeps the same names for some skills) but familiarity isn't bad
music's ok but apart from maybe the main battle track its not that memorable
fantasy setting good in some aspects weak in others

item equips are somewhat lacking in imagination sadly, max uber weapons are pretty carbon copies of each other

class system is fun and customisable until late/end game where the optimal build is each chara's 'royal' class (kinda disappointing)

overall 7/10

c++ would spend 300+ hours again

Monsters in your pocket, turn based card battles, farming mechanics, island hopping. Good game/10

still ass love it
